Samantha Stein Interiors is a residential interior design firm specializing in construction and furnishings. We build custom spaces and deliver highly thoughtful, personalized and beautiful results, with a strong emphasis on functionionality. Our Nashville based studio works collaboratively, creating homes that reflect our clients’ identity, lifestyle and aspirations.

Samantha is known for her fresh, family-friendly interiors with an emphasis on new traditional design. A champion of the classic and timeless, she isn't afraid to sprinkle a "collected" feel in each of the spaces she touches by incorporating antiques, commissioned artwork, and custom furniture, creating a well rounded and unique home.
A native of Nashville, Samantha has had a talent for design since she was a young child. She received her degree in interior design from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville before returning to Music City to grow her experience as a designer. She launched Samantha Stein Interiors in 2018 after honing her craft locally at both commercial and residential firms.

To Samantha, interior design offers an opportunity to discover the true potential of a space. She loves the creative process and innate artistry involved in each project she takes on. And while Samantha holds her work to the highest standard, she also prides herself on connecting with her clients in a natural, comfortable way. Her goal is to make every client feel excited to walk through their front door.

Katie Mehaffey, Operations Manager
Katie Mehaffey joined Samantha Stein Interiors in 2022 as Operations Manager. Katie is a Nashville native with a background in sales. After 10 years in Corporate America, Katie took few years off to raise her young babies before joining the Samantha Stein Interiors team. Her responsibilities include purchasing, order tracking, invoicing, client scheduling, and so much more! She is a integral part of the Samantha Stein Interiors team.
When Katie is not working, she can be found entertaining her 3 beautiful daughters, running, and cheering on her alma mater, University of Tennessee, with family and friends on game days.
Sarah Coleman Zurhellen, Associate Designer
Sarah Coleman Zurhellen joined Samantha Stein Interiors in 2023 as Associate Designer. Sarah Coleman grew up in Alabama and graduated with a degree in accounting from the University of Alabama. Quickly after graduation, she decided to pursue her love for interior design, enrolling at SCAD in Atlanta. Ever since she has honed her skills in residential design. The rest is history!
Sarah Coleman now lives in a bungalow in West Nashville with her husband and one year old little boy. When she's not designing beautiful spaces for clients you can find her dreaming up the next project for her own home with a cup of coffee in hand!
